The project was completed within a two-day marathon by a group of motivated designers, including myself. I am pleased to share this project as an example of what a small design team can achieve in a very tight timeframe.

Currently, individuals undergoing cognitive-behavioral therapy keep paper journals, but this solution has its drawbacks:
Inconvenient to carry around all the time
Often unable to record events in the moment
Journal can get lost
Journal can fall into the wrong hands, compromising personal information
Difficult to analyze and understand the progress an individual has made in addressing their issues

We came up with the idea of designing an application where everyone can record and evaluate their emotions without the help of a professional therapist. And for those already in therapy, we aim to provide a tool to work with their specialist.
At the core lies the three-step method of thought analysis by D. Burns, which is actively utilized in cognitive-behavioral therapy. It aids in overcoming negative thoughts, procrastination, mood swings, and eating disorders.

We developed 6 personas and conducted 3 interviews, as time was limited. It helped that we ourselves were the target audience and conducted the remaining interviews with each other.

After the interview results, we compiled a table of potential features. When we started sketching screens, this helped filter the list of requirements for each screen through the table.

We also researched competitors and found that existing products on the market help users track their thoughts or mood throughout the day. However, they don't allow users to specifically mark negative events, record their thoughts, and emotions about them.

Scenario Development and Initial Screens
So, on the first day, we worked on hypotheses and conducted research. On the second day, we planned to sketch and develop screens. After several iterations, we managed to sketch the main user scenario - recording thoughts about what happened.

First and foremost, it was an awesome experience, involving several pizzas consumed, tons of coffee drunk, and complete immersion in work. I was able to enhance my UI skills, improve teamwork communication, and conduct research.
In just two days, a team of 4 people managed to develop the idea and even started bringing it to life.
Designed the main scenario and several secondary ones
